TMNT and Spider-Man FoF were both awesome rentals, I would actually recommend them so long as you aren't shelling out $40-60 a pop.
If you have a Blockbuster, Hollywood, or GameFly or whatever, grab 'em. Pretty easy Achievements, and fun the first time through! The repetition at the end of FoF was
I haven't played Vampire Rain. Two Worlds was very buggy and glitchy but had some nice elements and I would actually recommend it to people that like dungeon crawlers/hack 'n slash, and/or phat lewtz.
I rarely buy games anymore, but based on rentals, I would actually nominate Virtua Fighter 5 as worst of the year. Personally, I found it didn't even stand up to DoA4, let alone other really good fighters. The graphics had a lot of flash and little substance, the single player was nigh-pointless, the combat itself was unintuitive (compared to most other fighters as well as earlier VF entries) and after Soul Calibur 3 and MK: Armageddon, I would say VF5's mild dress-up doll system was superfluous.
Better than nothing? Not even that, because the time spent on developing it could have been put into single-player story.

I got my hands on the Two Worlds demo and didn't like how unfinished/buggy/gltchy it felt, even for a demo release. But yeah, I'd vote that >.>

Assassin's Creed was good, though got repetitive/unexciting, since you just held two buttons and pushed the thumbstick around to do cool moves and climb up walls...and stuff.
