Unfortunately my roof is at a slope in the general area I'd like to have the cord come down. In the attic the slope of the roof covers the top of the wall completely where I would drop the cord down. Very tight space to work in. It's hard to explain, I'm not some expert at installing cords in walls. But hopefully that made sense. I would want to install a box for the cord as well. It's nice to have some slack in the wall in case it's needed.

Running it across a hallway floor is just a hazard for me. I'll trip and die. Then no more Xbox. *sad face*

My ISP is pretty reliable. So far, no issues. Had it over a year now.

i've never used wireless, but i still say no. not worth the risk in my opinion.
stick with the wire.

before u go and buy one make sure your wireless router is compatible. i had one before with no issues but when i got my wireless modem from verizon and from comcast it wouldnt sinc bc they were not compatible. so check xbox.com they have a list of ones confirmed to work and ones confirmed not to work.

Well, I got the little bastard.

By the way, thanks for attaching a poll onto this thread--whoever did that. I haven't voted just yet. I got the wireless adapter (from Wally World tyvm!) so we'll see how goes.

*holds receipt in air* Just in case...

**EDIT** So far so good with wireless. No problems with connection speed, no disconnections or interruptions.

Never had one and dont intend on getting one. I have a friend that does and it does nothing but give him trouble.

Absolutely got the wireless, the layout of the house makes anything else impractical. I have had problems in the past, but they've gone away since I got a new wireless router.

Stick with wired.
My wire goes... from upstairs, though a closet, though a wall in the closet, down to th basement, into the top of another closest closet then out through a back wall of that closet to my xbox

or something like that lol
