Wii Availability

I got a Target gift card for a Wii (i guess it's just a $250 card, but it says Wii on it and lights up blue when you press the little power button

) over the holidays. I haven't been out to Target to try and find one yet because I assumed that they're still difficult to get. Anyone see these just sitting out in stores yet like the ps3? I'm not in a huge hurry to get my hands on it, but as soon as they're readily available I'd like to jump on it.

Good luck finding one in the next year man, they are very hard to come by. That's a nifty sounding card though...

The only new sytem I see behind the glass case when I go out is the PS3. I'm sure if you give it a couple more weeks you should start to see them on the shelf.

if you call target they usually have someone screen the calls for the ps3 and wii so if you ask they should tell you when they will have them in stock. If you want to fly to San Francisco i can have my girlfriend hold one for you at the target she works at lol

Bestbuy got a new shipment in today and I think target did to.

Just called, but they said they don't have any in stock. I probably am just too late. Thanks for the heads up though

Keep an eye out on Sundays, because from what I've heard, even if the stores get Wiis during the week, they will not tell anyone and hold them in the back until Sunday, so if you call during the week they will say they are out of stock because they want to list it in their Sunday flyer.

I haven't been to any electronics stores for at least a month. Are they still hard to find? I guess I'll call Target tomorrow morning and see if they have any.

now that I am thinking about it, there was 4 at wal-mart today. Tell us if you find one.

dude, id say raise hell until you get one, i mean you have the system paid off, so all you need to do is pick it up. Id tell them to just hold one when they get them in or else youd call the manager and DM and etc until they either get tired of you or pissed off enough to just hold one for you when they get them in

Actually it's just a regular $250 gift card that happens to say Wii in big letters on it. I think they did that on purpose because they didn't want to be giving away vouchers for Wiis for the reason.

I'm not in a huge hurry to get it now anyways. I don't have money for games or accessories, so I will stuck playing only Wii Sports for a while.

Well, let me know your Wii Friend code once you find one Pasta. I could use a few more Wii's in my Parade!

I still think the Wii is a little difficult to find during the weekday's as most big electronic stores are hoarding them until Sunday's ads every week still. I think Target is doing the same, but I am sure they will start to trickle onto the shelves soon.

Every time I call Target before I can get the word 'Nintendo' out they're telling me they don't have any.

A guy at Target said they usually have them on Sundays, like Hektic said. I think tomorrow morning I'll go bright and early and see if I can get my hands on one.
