I can't watch it because I can sing better than half the people they let in the final 100. But I'm not nearly as good as the top 12. No point in trying out

yea the tryouts are funny as shit, it's my fave part. my wife likes the whole show so because this tv has my 360 and the dvr i wont be gaming during that time. i guess there will be some random shit getting posted at those times the show is on. =)

In addition, isn't American Idol supposed to "find" the next big thing? I mean I know they've had some success - see Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood. But what about those that won and went no where, or those who didn't win and make the others look like fools? Like Chris Daughtry who I enjoy listenting to, or Jennifer Hudson who won what, an Academy Award and a Golden Globe? Oh and she was nominated for 4 Grammy Awards.... she finished in what seventh place?
I wont even go into the "winners" that got no where....
