Who Dey! Bengals vs. Chiefs

Well first of all, I despertaly want the Bengals to win to show that they can beat a tough Chiefs team and to stay with Pittsburgh. I'm not so sure about how the game will turn out, I think we're playing well, but I haven't seen how well the Chiefs are playing to compare. Anyway, what do you think will happen today?

havent heard much about the chiefs but cincy should still do well.. only time will tell

Bengals 17, Chiefs 3 at the half. We started off a little rocky, but we got it together and look pretty good now. Let's hope we continue to play well.

yeah, but the hit wasn't illegal or anything. He looked paralyzed though.

You guys don't know much about football. It was a completely illegal hit two fold.

#1: He lead with his helmet
#2: When a QB baseball slides, he cannot be touched because he is giving himself up.

Expect Mr. Geathers to have a minimum of a hefty fine, with a potential 1 game suspension for the viciousness of the hit.

#1... He hit with his shoulder
#2.. He was pushed.

Same thing happened to Palmer last year in the playoffs.. his linemen pushed Von Oelhoffen into him.. Shit happens...

Yes, they made the playoffs last year, however they were defeated by the Steelers and everyone is complaining that the hit on Palmer was dirty etc. (It wasn't!!)

Also, Trent Green doing a hook slide is the sign of don't hit him. As Z stated, I'm sure he will be fined and I'm really suprised that no flag was thrown by the officials.

ok, as for the palmer hit, it was an accident and not dirty.. the steelers would not have won that game had palmer palyed, but the bengals would have ended up losing to the colts anyway

as for that hit, im betting you guys no fine (just to go against you basically), and like i said before, no flag because geathers was already in motion for the hit before the slide began, there was no way he could have stopped.. atleast trent can feel all his appendages right?

I'm actually no sure of the fine now after watching it in slow motion 8 billion times on ESPN. I guess it will be a judgement decision by the league.
