Xbox.com lists Assassin's Creed as released November 2007, and I actually heard first quarter 2008, so who knows what to believe? Lol, it wouldn't be hard on me if they both came out on the same day, just hard on my wallet (not to mention my girlfriend, lol).

Oh snap! Lurcharad's right, I can't believe I forgot Mass Effect. I'd have to take a break, even for a sec, to check that game out.

So did I. Awesome games. I love the story. Very gripping. Am I the only one that cried out with rage when the friend got killed?

ive never played any of the brothers in arms games. ive only played the call of dutys and moh: airborne. i know its pathetic.

Crook, if you liked Medal of Honor Airborne and Call of Duty 1 and 2 you'll enjoy Brothers in Arms. It has a great story to it and it's got Rainbow 6 tactics style gameplay.

definatly cod 4. i have been with cod since the start. i havent played much of halo. Only a bit of coop with a friend and a couple halo 2 partys. i will be buying halo 3 though.

I decided I will go away from the games and types of games that most of you have mentioned. I will of course be playing Assassian's Creed and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare but so will everyone else. I am looking forward to few games that won't be as big on release deal, but their previous release have always provided me with great entertainment (OR games like them).

1) Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 featuring ECW.
-This is going to be the best wrestling game to date. They have complete intergrated Season and General Manager Mode together. You now control everything about your created superstar and control his destiny. I love that season mode is going to be expanded past one year. Now, you try to make you created superstar a legend by winning the title multiple times, winning the Royal Rumble, and dominating WrestleManias. I can't wait!

2) Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
-Nothing needs to be said. These games are AWESOME!

3) The Simpson's Game
-After reading reviews, there is no way I am going to miss this one. They say that the dialogue is absolutely hilarious.

4) CSI
-I am not sure of the full name, but CSI games on PC have been amazing and the one on original XBox is very fun.

5) Scene It
-Four Buzzers and a game with 1000's of questions....all for $60! I will be buying and playing this. It is a perfect party game for when friends come over.

Anyways, I know these aren't the normal picks, but they are definitely some releases that I am looking forward to playing. Well, happy gaming in only a few days...HALO 3!

You know, I think this game is basically going to live in my Xbox 360 from now until December. I've got a birthday then, and there's always Christmas. And with a lack of cash, I'll really have to rely on those to get new games. I think that "Orange Box" will be the first game to really pull me away from Halo 3 full-time, but it'll take Assassin's Creed, CoD4, Guitar Hero III and Mass Effect to really make a difference. And maybe Smash Bros Brawl will cut into some of the multiplayer time? Ah, who knows.

The important thing is that Halo 3 is two days away!

I'll be getting Kane & Lynch, Assassins Creed, and Army of Two on Nov 10th when they drop. Halo 3 will collect dust for a few months.

I didn't read other posts but I'm guessing I'm the first person to say anything would make me not play halo 3. If I had to name a game it would be PGR4 but theres alot of games I haven't played yet that I can play in my free time besides Halo3.

It will be PGR4 today, then Orange Box and Beautiful katamari in the near future.
