It isn't always the fault of the organizer, though. Also, a lot of active members get sick of seeing threads such as, "should we boost this," "should we make an event for that," clogging up the forums.

I see merit to what you're saying, but it would be more effective if it were because "gamertagA" has confirmed for 247943086 boosting events, but hasn't showed up to a single one. Then "gamertagA" shows up in red when he/she confirms for an event so the organizer doesn't bank on people showing up for his event when all of the confirmed members are red.

I suggested this somewhere else. This would definitely be a good idea, the only problem is people may change their birthday to whatever today's date is to put themselves on the homepage.

you could always disable changing your bithday. i.e. when you input it at the account creation screen it is SET and LOCKED

There used to be a calendar on the homepage that had birthdays in it. Jackson said once that he might bring it back but it never happened. I don't think we really had a problem with people changing their birthdays- I don't think it was abused in any way. Anyone who would do that wouldn't be one of the frequent posters anyway so it's not like they'd get a birthday thread.

Then I'm all for it.

I have noticed that there are quite a few threads with significant age. I propose that if there is a thread whose latest post is more then a year old, then it should be deleted.

NOOOOO! because:

1. some important threads are more than a year old
2. its always fun to look back on the sites history via old posts
3. this way when somebody refers to something in a really old thread you can actually go and find it
4. its sometimes fun to necro old threads
5. its funny when NOOBS necro old threads

I think, a search engine on the home page of Xbox America will help it work efficiently. People are always putting up threads about Modern Warfare and such and they're often repeated. If you do do this, you guys can delete repeated threads and such to help the forums clean.

If there is a search engine, then why can't I see it on the home page?
