Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA floats my boat.
I really enjoy picking up brewmaster sample packs from Samuel Adams. Some of their brews are hit or miss, but all 3 varieties in this particular one hit for me. I have had their Irish Red and Coastal Wheat before, so I knew 2 of the 3 would be good. The IPA surpassed my expectations and I have to hand it to the brewers of Samuel Adams! I'm very impressed!

I know I briefly mentioned it in the waffle thread recently, but for those who didn't catch the post, my mother was diagnosed with cancer about two weeks ago. The type of cancer is more rare, and although is slightly less likely to kill you, it is more likely to spread and has a higher rate of recurrence.
The good news is she had surgery yesterday, which took almost double the time that was expected, and they removed the cancer lumps and found no signs of the cancer spreading at all!
She still has several weeks of radiation treatment that she will have to undergo (helps reduce the rate of the cancer coming back), but this was some great news after not having any idea how bad it was going to be (it felt like a lot longer than two weeks).

*BUMP* for great justice!!
Pushing down on my brake pedal and not having any squeaks, squawks, grinding or having it sink to the floor floats my boat! Even better is knowing that not only did I not have to pay some slack-jawed inbred hundreds of dollars to do it, I will never have to again!
I am now pretty sure I can build a car from the ground up without anyone ever teaching me!

That is very good to hear.....I hope all continues to go ok for your mom.
On another note what floats my boat is actually finding someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to repairs.

This is so true. With a repair manual and the Internet, you can do it all!
My VW was having some problems and the dealership wanted $1500 to service it. Plus, I'd have to peg-leg it through the middle of Savannah traffic again, which I was not looking forward to. With the help of a repair manual and the Internet, my husband fixed it himself for less than $150.
