What does this mean? Is it just an overheat, or something bad? I turned it off and back on and it works fine, but does this mean my xbox is damaged or something? Also, by the way, I keep my xbox in a cabinet on the TV set. I usually keep the cabinet open, but it was making a lot of noise so I closed the cabinet..Could it be from the xbox not getting enough air and overheating?

Two red lights?

I was in a Halo 3 game. The game had just left the lobby, where it goes black and shows the list of people in the game, but it didn't show and kept black for a little longer than usual..Then I looked and I had two of the four red lights on my 360 lit up.

Welcome to RROD land! They all die eventually. I'd go ahead and ship it microsoft so you get it back sooner. Mine was just shipped back today. I hope I'll have by Tuesday. Good luck man

It looks like you're right and it is overheating. You do not need to send it to Microsoft.

Seriously, is overheating that bad? I unplugged it for a few hours and it works just fine now. I think it only happened since the cabinet is closed.

Like for me it flashed two red lights and then didnt do it for a few months then it did for certain games and then it would just do it every 20 minutes
