Two Game Opinions

I was at gamestop today looking for something to pick up and play. It came between two games, and in the end...............i didn't get either one of them, haha. I got Test Drive Unlimited...lol...But I wanted to see what you guys thought of the new games "PURE" and "Viva Pinata: Trouble In Paradise" so I know what to get next time around.

I havent heard much of anything on PURE but I saw a kid playing the demo in the store last week and it looked pretty cool.

I only heard a few things of VPTIP..minigoer you been playing this game havent you? What do you think of it?

So.....what are you guy's opinions of these two games?

im not to big into offroad games so i cant help ya there.

viva pinata on the other hand is not as good as the first one was imo.

but if I had to choose between the two i would have picked viva pinata only because its cheaper.

i hated viva pinata(1st 1) but haven't played the new one(s). it was like work playing this game. i have yet to play pure but i like this type of game and it looks really good so i know what i would pick.....

target has an exclusive Viva ,but I don't remember what it included.

I liked Viva, just because i was obsessed with animal crossing, and My opinion on pure from the demo the game was very very fun, but it would get repetative very fast. I do love racing games (Forza 2 Nerd) but pure just seemed too repetative to me, its like SSX Tricky kinda.

targets exclusive includes 5 vision cards that you can use to scan things into the game oh and a card with a code to download a episode of the viva pinata tv show on live, but honestly i bought it and it wasnt worth it cuz you pretty much need a small sun as a light for the vision to be able to read the cards

Ok, I am a game addict so unless its evil and glitches on me all the time (see any post of mine about star wars:TFU) I love it.

But trying to be objective.......

If you have played the first game and liked it, you will like this game too. It is fairly simple to pick up and have fun, but unless you're lame and download the pinatas off the internet, getting all the achievements will be time consuming.

Both my wife and my son play this game constantly and I would still be playing it if not for Star Wars....

All that being said, it is a sandbox game, you basically do the same things over and over again with slight differences... e.g. have x # of this pinata A in the garden for pinata B to show up - or Pinata needs to eat x bananas, y grapes (ok there aren't grapes in the game) to become a resident...blah to get them to romance.....blah to learn a trick. I think its a good game that plays on the original, but I would totally understand why people could hate it too, it can be very tedious to get some of the more difficult pinata. They did add a couple features which were cool - the ability to trap pinata in a couple other areas (thats all you can do in them) and you can play a couple minigames with your pinata (which were only cool for the first few times). Uhh, so I guess if you like the Sims or some other game with no real "winning" this is a very fun game. If you don't like those....run the other way screaming

Thanks Minigoer...I enjoyed the first game and was wanting this to try out....PURE might end up being a rental than....I played and enjoye MX VS ATV UNTAMED and enjoyed it but it got very repetitive so thanks for the crus.

VP was $39 so it wouldnt have been too much...PURE, I didnt think it would be worth the $59 price tag but I wanted to ask around anyway....out of the two, i might end up buying VP....I played the first one for hours on end so this one might get quite a bit of play time as well

I thought the same thing about the camera....then I found out you could adjust the focus and had no problem with it, just can't point it towards the light, light has to be behind the camera

yeah at the beginning of the game when you get the camera option it tells you to turn it all the way counter clockwise, but ive still been having problems with lighting
