totally not true. everyone thinks it is so easy. i drove in the stock car experience at pocono and dover and let me tell u. after 10 laps i was tired. let alone 400 or 500. it is really hard to keep those cars on the track.
What was that like? I always heard stuff about it but never heard any first-hand accounts.

well put it this way. at pocono i hit 190 down the front stretch that felt like i was offroad. it was sooo bumpy. then i had to slow down enough to make a 75 degree turn. quite scary. then at dover i was well over 100 and the banking is i believe 48 degrees in the corners. plus the track is concrete so the car slides A LOT. its a ton of fun. worth every penny. pocono was a bday gift and i paid 600 for dover

That's awesome. $600 ain't that bad for a once in a lifetime experience for some people, I mean if this one dude can charge $500 to watch a baseball game with him that's definitely worth it.

I never thought it was easy. My problem with it, is people calling it a sport. Sorry. IMO, a sport requires athletes. Drivers dont necessarily have to be athletic to drive. Im not saying it takes no skill but please dont call it a sport. Drives me insane. I also hate how some people call poker a sport.
sry to anger u but some nascar drivers are in far better shape than any football or baseball or soccer players. it is quite a work out in those cars. not to mention that u cant really move ur torso for 5 hrs and the car gets to 150 degrees inside. plus nascar is the second most popular SPORT in america. sry pepper i had to

yea the reason ppl say its expensive is bc ur only driving the car for maybe 10 to 15 mins lol 600 bucks for 10 to 15 mins. the rest of the day ur in a class and they tour u the track then u ride with a driver THEN u drive

It is what it is. Who are we to say its a sport because we are good at Football, Basketball, or Baseball, Hockey. I personally think Tennis and Golf are not in the same category. But then get out there and try them competitive and then you realize its a sport. While Nascar relies on engines to win I ask you this. If I gave you the best Car with the best parts could you win the race?
I sure as hell couldn't. But I play everything you listed except hockey and each one takes a different kind of athleticism. I'll probably get shit for this but I'd say tennis is the hardest out of all of those.
