Harmonix has officially announced that Snoop Dogg is coming to Rock Band.

Yes. That's right. Rap is coming to Rock Band. I am currently crying under my bed, attempting now to break down and jump out my window.

RAP??!?!?! in....ROCK BAND!?!?

i can see where youd use a drum, for some of the beats....but..arent most of those beats computer-generated? those are like....vocals-only songs then......maybe some drums.....buy i dont see where guitar would come in.....since its.....RAP O_o

snoop dogg is still alive? wtf? guitar is really the defining instrument that differentiates itself from rap! this.....is.....wrong. why not just call it RAP BAND? it'd be cheaper, just the mike and some drums, the game, oh yea possibly some 40 oz's and guns for a limited edition box set complete with poseable BITCHES AND HOES and some fake BLING.

on a more serious note, i don't play GH, but that sounds pretty effed up in my book.
and i like rap, too. some of it.

dude if it came with a gold xbox 360 faceplate that looked like someones grill I would buy that shit lol jk my hacker one i cant part with.

and the thing with the beastie boys is they werent fully rap they actually played guitar and stuff like that they were more in the class Rap/Rock like Limp Bizkit.

Dude... The problem here is NOT rap. I like some rap, and yes some of it takes talent! (Twista anyone??) The point that you seem to be missing, Mr. Rambo, is that people are mad that rap is coming to Rock Band, not that rap exists. I'm just wondering what the guitar will be doing while I'm sippin' on gin and juice.
