my old 360 was doing that with Guitar hero world tour it would only let me play it for like 20 minutes and than shut down

have you tried playing them for 30 - 60 minutes, seeing if they lock up?

please don't bring up plumbing right now,k......just don't. it sounds to me like your it's your dvd drive. one of the dudes i work with was having the same problem -all the newer games wouldn't load up but his older ones would. i know how ya feel man, the ps3 is a superior piece of hardware.....but it's only a blue ray player for me.

Sounds like a buggy game. I ran into a similiar problem with Ninja Gaiden II right after Microsoft made an update.
