50 Cent: Blood on the Sand was one of those titles that was dropped by Activision-Blizzard earlier this year, but the game is orphaned no more. THQ announced today that they have picked up publishing rights to the game for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It is now slated for release in early 2009 and will still feature the run-gun and brawler style play, as well as 18 new tracks from 50 Cent.

If Blizzard dropped it then it will be garbage. Blizzard has a VERY high quality control group. If something isn't gaming perfection they won't release it.

I played the first 50cent game! I didn't get achievements, so it was ridiculously poor, even for my low standards! lol

While the game has one of the worst plots for a game, the game itself is a lot better than the first one and is actually a fairly high quality title (Swordfish did the Bourne game). Think Gears of War mixed with The Club and you have some idea of the game play.
