Even though I don't like swearing and don't anymore - I just use other words that pretty much mean the same thing - darn, crap, fudge, shoot. Still all convey the same thing as the "swear" words. Heck, I found out that some people consider "crap" a swear word, so I guess I can't claim I don't "swear" at all.....
I agree with Boobs, it is just a way to convey emotion - though some people overdo it (every sentence has the f-word).
