Hey everyone,
I'd like to announce the 2009 Xbox America Annual Fundraiser. Last year we set a fundraising goal of $500 and with all your fantastic support we met that goal. This year, although our membership has risen by 40%, no server upgrades are necessary. This means the cost of maintaining the server has not risen, and so we're setting the same goal of $500. The fundraiser will run for the duration of July.
Benefits of donating:
- Keep Xbox America online and running smoothly
- Accounts that donate more than $5 are guaranteed the option to turn off ads if we're ever forced to introduce ads to Xbox America.
- Receive up to four awards depending on the level of contribution
All donations will go straight into hosting and domain name costs. If we exceed our goal, any additional funds will be put away for future hosting costs, site upgrades or prizes for tournaments and events.
