a traitor, haha....you thought this was a welcome thread didn't you? haha

Tomorrow (if my paycheck comes in) I will be heading off to get a Playstation 3. I know some of you have mentioned it being paper weights, but there are a few games that are out now that I want to play, and coming this year there are quite a bit more that I want to play, God of War III comes to mind.

I plan on going to gamestop tomorrow to buy Vishis the new DSi, and a few games...then I am buying Guitar Hero World Tour, along with the new Metallica game.

So my thing is, those of you who have a playstation 3....name off some good games that I should check out. My thing is, I will not get any games for the PS3 that is available for the 360 (can't miss out on my achievement points bitches...lol)

but with that said....lend me some suggestions

LittleBigPlanet is one I plan on getting, along with Heavenly Sword and Metal Gear Solid

but I don't plan on getting Gran Turismo 5 and Killzone will come later on

oh wait i have one

i used mine for the first time in like 6 months the other day. Spent 40 mins playing it 39 of which were spent downloading the new update for it

. I only have 5 games for it LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid 4, MLB the show 07, Resistance and Motorstorm. the only one that i still play is LittleBigPlanet and i dont even do that much.

I don't use mine all that much for games(don't make the mistake I made with Heavenly Sword).But it gets a work out as a Blu-Ray player,and there are some sweet games coming out.Also Home sucks,and downloading ANYTHING takes forever!!!

Ok for all of you people saying PS3 is a waster of money it really isnt. When the new xbox come out it 2-3 years, and you dont have the money to get it as soon as it comes out, you be glad you have a PS3. But anyway Kidd Cartel you 4sure gotta Killzone 2, Uncharted, LittleBig PLanet, MGS4, and Resistance 2.

And Banks77 is wrong....its been tested over and over, downloads are a bit faster on PS3.

i have only played motorstorm (it came with it) and it's fun for awhile and i also bought warhawks with the bluetooth headset last year and i've yet to play it. i hear little big planet, resistance, and killzone are good though.

Say I'm wrong All you want.My 360 is a lot faster downloading.Maybe its my PS3,but that's how it is.By the way I am far from the only one to complain about that.

Listen up, I'm not going to have my thread become fussing and fighting. People have their different opinions on the consoles, and the games, that's what they are, opinions...I only asked for good games to pick up, nothing else. I'm not trying to become a dick, but I'm trying to nip this in the bud and all this fighting and fussing and bickering and arguing on this site lately is getting on my damn nerves. Chill out, or GTFO.

I plan on getting Heavenly Sword, I played it at a friends house a while back and been wanting to get it...Like I said I plan on getting LittleBigPlanet and Heavenly Sword to start off with.

And Zu, I have to agree with you, I seen many things about Killzone 2 and I plan on getting that as well, also do plan on getting the Resistance 1 & 2 games and the Drakes Fortune games as well.
