Last night my sister was out shopping at Toys R Us for some gifts for extended family. On circuitcity.com I saw that the xbox 360 was in stock at the nearest store (Mayfield Heights). My sister was right next door, so she went and checked it out. She was told they'd be recieving 4 the next day (today, 12/17). This morning I woke up, got ready and arrived at circuit city 10 minutes before they opened. I saw a woman go to stand in line outside, so I ran so I was right behind her. When it opened we were told that there were none, and I asked if they were getting a shipment of 4, and they said they were supposed to.
So, I just camped out watching the Fantastic 4, four times. It's a good thing I hadn't seen it yet. The woman left and brought her kid, and they switched off shifts (mother, father, kid), and one other guy also was waiting.
The truck arrived at around 11 am, but we were told it'd take awhile to unpack. Around 3pm the manager came over and told me they had them, and "we'll try to do this as discreetly as possible." I went back and 10 minutes later I had a xbox 360 premium system in hand. She called back the other people one at a time too.
I'm sooo happy. I got it alot easier than waiting for 12 hours outside in the freezing cold. I just sat on a couch with a root beer watching a movie for 7 hours.
