No dude it's all good....Like I said, everyone can believe or not believe what they want. We living in america baby
I do believe that some christians come off as pushy...hell, a lot of them are. When I talk to someone about faith and religion I always have an open mind and plant my little mustard seed in saying that no matter what goes on in your life, there is always one person who loves you and you could never do anything bad enough for him not to. No matter how many steps we take away from god, he is always one step back.
I understand what you mean because I have plenty of friends who are the same way. Maybe one day you will find what is best for you ...everything comes in due time, no need to rush or push someone into believing in something.

First off Kidd there is nothing wrong with you posting this thread. I think it shows that your more than one dimensional and that you can expand your thought process to more enlighten thinking, good show!!
Second, If anyone here can plainly read and see if they do a little digging into the history books would show that one of the most pushy and self-righteous religion would have to be Christianity, Now being a Christian myself I come to realize that, People misconception of The Muslim faith has cause people to go off the deep end and blame an entire religion based on what a small percentage of people are doing.
Every religion has some nut out there mis reading, misquoting or misunderstanding their religion's guidelines. A few years back we had David Koresh who thought himself the prophet. we have The Crusades a series of war fought over religion.
Scientology is another religion that sometimes gets its meaning lost in translation. If people took the time to learn about other religion their would alot less stupid comments made like I hear the other day: I not voting for Obama because I don't want a Muslim running the country (the man has been proving to be a Christian)
Open your minds people

oh please believe crooks...I got millions of things running through my head, lol
I do agree with what you said about obama...people not voting him because "he is a muslim"...Can you answer me why he doesn't salute our flag though?...The flag representing the country he is going to be running if voted to be our leader? I'm not being sarcastic by no means either, I am honestly wanting to know that.
Actually can ANYBODY please tell me that...lol

Throwing this out there:
Tom Cruise said that you can be a scientologist and a Christian.
Rational thought:
Religion is a business. It makes money. scientology declaring itself a religion helps it make tax free money. It is one of the most expensive religions to beleong to, if you want to advance you have to pay for more tests and lessons. It's like an RPG where you bring your own gold to level up.

That's my thought as well, Jake.
Scientology WAS originally secular. It was a philosophy for living well. I'm thinking the religion angle came when the fiscal benefits of being a religion became appealing to him.
A lot of people think of it negatively cause of how psycho Tom Cruise is lately, but there are a lot of scientologists who AREN'T pushy or crazy... I mean Will Smith is AWESOME!

You know I HATE Scientology! Honestly how can people take this seriously when it was written by a sci-fi author? that alone should be enough to make people turn away... However consider history, these are the same type of people who went to jonestown, the same type of people who were in heavans gate... the list goes on and on.
The truth is there are many people in this world who are ignorant and will listen and follow just about anthing thrown at them....
What makes this worse is Tom Cruise and the way he speaks about the so called "non believers"
This guy has turned into a total nut job and I will never pay to see one of his movies again.... this is the same guy who threatened to cancel his mission impossible 3 plugging if comedy central didnt pull the south park scientology episode... which I must tell you can be bought on XBL... its called trapped in the closet i think.

I'm not sure if you read the thread, but keep in mind the same can said about Christianity. Any religion relying on faith rather than empirical evidence is equally unsupported. People scoff at Xenu yet embrace the Genesis. What makes one of these more probable than another? Because you have faith in it? Because one has existed for longer?
Please bear in mind, I'm not questioning Christianity. I'm only pointing out that trying to determine the plausibility of faith-based religions goes against their very nature. It's not about plausibility, but faith.
