I am really looking forward to this.
Sacred 1 was a PC title similar to Diablo in a lot of ways but it was bigger and added things like rideable mounts. The story & production values weren't as high but there was more to do, more characters, more powers, etc.
Sacred 2 has much, much higher & more polished production, the graphics and sound are very nice, and I am very glad it is still coming to 360. Action-RPG/hack 'n slash is one of my favourite genres and I'd love to see more on 360!
I CAST MAGIC MISSILE AT THE DARKNESS!!

I would say anyone that played & enjoyed Diablo, Diablo II, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and/or Champions of Norrath, you owe it to yourself to check out Sacred 2 when it drops for 360.
And yes I agree, if it comes down to a game getting pushed out "on time" with bugs or pushed back and polished, go for the extra time. Two Worlds could really have been something awesome.

i thought sacred 2 was a bunch of junk thrown together. it made no sense to me and was really boring.
I will stick with Fable anyday over Sacred

mask just told me that he really enjoys the game.
i plan on checking it out, anyway. he made it sound like a fairly simple 1K.

LOFL look at what you guys are saying.
You like game devs holding your freaking hand? Try reading some quick FAQs if you can't figure a game out
(especially you Top Dogs, i expected better )
Anyway, Sacred 2 looks awesome from everything I've read. I loved the first one on PC and this new one looks like a nice combo of the Diablo-type gameplay with some of the best elements of the BG: Dark Alliance & Champions of Norrath games.
Hack 'n slash action-RPGs are some of my favourite console games out there. Definitely different from stuff like Oblivion and Fable but freakin' awesome nonetheless.
You trade some of the 'depth' and things like huge plots and massive NPC voiceovers and cutscenes for tons of loot and leveling up, and I usually have way more fun making multiple characters in this type of game as it takes less time overall. After putting almost 100 hours into a character in Oblivion it's hard to muster the will to start all over just to try a different race or build, and with Fable it's just too much dialogue to listen to.

Sacred 2 definitely has a huge learning curve. I still don't understand everything but I know a lot more now than I did just a few days ago.
The worst parts are that you can really mess up your character in the beginning, before you know what you're doing, and not realize it until much much later.
I recommend the Sacred 2 Wiki as it will explain quite a bit about character intricacies and even has some basic char builds that you can work off of: http://www.sacredwiki.org
