Well, looks like you will have to pony up some serious dough if you want to buy the complete ensemble of Rock Band. GameStop has released their bundled package including the game and all instruments, and it comes in at a whopping $199.99. However that is a savings of $50 instead of buying the game ($59.99), Fender Guitar ($79.99), Drum Kit ($79.99) and Microphone ($29.99) separately.

I think the price will be the downfall of the game. There's no way I'll buy this game now. $200 is a lot of money for one game.

There's no way I'm paying that much for a game. I think I'll be keeping my Guitar Hero II guitar and just buying the game. I'll be more than happy just playing guitar on it.
