Resident Evil 5 Demo Hits Live

Well Christmas must be coming early this year because the Resident Evil 5 Demo is finally live!! A few people may have already tried the demo at local game stores but the demo is finally available for download today as of Jan. 26th.

The demo is 472MB and features two levels from the upcoming survival horror game by Capcom. The demo features Solo Play, Split-Screen Cooperative Play or (my favorite) Online Cooperative Play. PS3 owners will have to wait at least a week to try this gem of a game out. While there is no release date set for the U.S. version to hit stores there will be plenty of zombies to kill in the meantime.

same here cap'n!
well, i played some of 1 and really liked it but never finished it.
2 wasn't all that great in my opinion. i gave up on the series after that.
pumped about this one though! i'm gonna get off my PC and finally fire up my 360 today!

Wow, this game is the worst game I've ever played (just my opinion!). The controls are stupid, graphics are pretty good though. I'd still rather play Perfect Dark: Zero

I know what you mean by the controls.... I think the term I used was "clunky", the guy moves like he's stuck in tar or something but still.... if you could fluidly move easily and just kill every zombie in sight with ease it wouldn't be an RE game. That type of movement has pretty much been standard for the RE's since the days of good ol' PS1.

I have to agree the graphics are spot-on. The difficulty level is just right (maybe a tiny bit too hard haha). Worst game I've ever played ?? Not even close, Pimp My Ride will always hold that honor.

Haha. I've never played Pimp My Ride, but I'd rather play this than Call of Duty 5. So I guess I lied. It's not the worst game I've ever played, just one of 'em!

not bad, I kinda like it. my friend thinks its the most stupid thing ever because of the wanky controls, and you cant just kill everyone in a heartbeat.

wow! what a GREAT demo! what's not to like?!
talking zombies, retarded AI, not to MENTION i can shoot an enemy in the head 5 times without them dying!

fail.

at least the devs know that graphics are everything! looks very pretty.

I know what you mean by the hit detection for head shots.... it's pretty bad, especially when ammo is scarce and headshots should be rewarded by a nice gooey 'pop'.
