A few months ago, spontaneously, my 360 had the E74 error aka the one ring of death. Unlike the RROD, this is not covered by the 3 year warranty and I had to replace the one year just to get it fixed. It was a fast process and I received my 360 back with that fixed, and they fixed my faulty DVD drive. it took about 8-10 days from the point I shipped it out.

I would still send it back to be repaired/replaced. You don't want to take the chances that it will RROD again next week.... or whenever.

well the faceplate shouldnt be a problem to take off. as long as you have the original one to put back on.
idk about the stickers, ive never been able to take a sticker off w/o ruining the part that sticks

I think I may do that. It would be easier.
Does anyone know the best way to remove 360 stickers on the side, without ruining the stickers for future use?
(I have the Assassin's Creed faceplate and side adhesives, and I don't want to lose them if I send in the 360 without removing them).

i took all the safety stickers off my atv using a hair dryer to warm up tthe decal and then peeling them off slowly-usually came off in one piece and they were still sticky.
