Wow I'm surprised. I'm not big on superhero movies but Watchmen totally blew me away, I'd give it a 9/10 easy. I loved the brutality of the violence, the nakeds, the cynical tone and the multiple perspectives from the different characters that helped the story seem meaningful.

I absolutely loved it too. I'd never even heard of it till they started hyping the movie. I guess I appreciated it so much because it wasn't your run of the mill superhero flick. It was a very character driven story and I could see why you may not have liked it if you couldn't appreciate any of the characters. I bought and read the graphic novel after watching it and have to say they did a helluva job adapting it. They changed the ending a little but I think the films ending worked a lot better.

I have to agree with Mask and give Paranormal Activity a 1/10. I can understand why it would freak so many people out because it was like custom-tailored to be similar to all the "real" paranormal stuff that gets put on tv and other media these days.
Since I don't give a crap about things like that, to me it was just a movie of people whining at the camera and doors moving. I much prefer something like Drag Me to Hell with its big evil goat demon haha.
