My opinion is a little biased since I'm a huge Hellraiser fan, and I should drop the score because this is the first in 8 films that Doug Bradley does not play Pinhead. However, it is the first since Hellraiser 4: Bloodlines to have an original script revolving around the puzzlebox and what the cenobites offer, instead of just being a horror movie with Pinhead stuck in there for namesake. The story was pretty decent, but I don't care for the new Pinhead too much, and he didn't really do anything anyway. All in all a decent B-horror film, and a good watch for fans. Interesting fact: The only reason this film was made was because Dimension Films was going to lose the copyright of the franchise due to a contractual stipulation if they did not produce a sequel in time. A reboot of the original has been in the works for years, and losing the franchise rights would have made all that work worthless.

I watched the trailer to that movie the other day and I thought it looked horrible. I am also a Hellraiser fan and just the trailer put me off to watching the movie. Sucks that it turned out to be that bad.
Amazing Spider-Man-4/5
Not nearly as good as the original, and Garfield isn't nearly as good as Maguire. But I'm still a huge fan of the series so I will watch all these versions too.
P.S. Emma Stone is really hot as a blonde.
Goon-4/5
There were a lot of funny parts to this movie, a love story(sort of), hockey, fighting, and of course Sean William Scott. What more can you ask for??? Well this might be a bit biased since I love sports and am a big fan of SWS. But it is still a pretty funny movie.
BASEketball-5/5
Downright hilarious, if you love sports movies and comedies...combined!!! Which I do. So yeah. Must see for sports/comedy fans.

It's only 2 hours 10 mins. That's actually pretty short for a Oliver Stone joint.

I've been on a cheesy horror movie kick lately, and seeing that on Netflix seemed perfect. I have mixed feelings after I found out why it was made; on the one hand I'm happy it wasn't just a shameless cash grab for a ninth movie, on the other its kind of sad that the contract stipulation forced them to rush it out so fast they couldn't even get Doug Bradley.
Spawn on blu ray - 5/5
I freaking love Spawn, and remember owning the movie on VHS back in the day. The blu ray version looks great; the music and sound effects are booming, the images are sharper, and while the effects aren't the greatest, they certainly look better than some recent movies, like the Wolverine movie. Of course, John Leguizamo pretty much makes the whole movie. Best clown ever!
Interesting movie fact: As a kid watching the movie, I always thought it kind of strange that they really downplayed his cape. Sure it was there, but only for a couple of short scenes. It turns out that this was Todd McFarlane's choice. The movie execs were going to push for the cape because they were afraid of upsetting McFarlane, and he actually came up with the idea of only having the cape in a few scenes: He said if it was there the entire time, it would just get in the way, actors would be tripping over it and it would dominate the screen. It was nice to see that he was so down to earth as to make a change like that when everyone else was afraid of mentioning it.

I know his movies are always long as hell haha.
Tales of Vesperia is my favorite RPG of this gen and this movie does a great job of showing what happens before the game and why Yuri quit the Knights. If you're a fan of the game I recommend watching this movie.
