Unknown, 8/10, started slow, but then turned out to be pretty bad ass, plus it's Liam Neeson so you know it's good...most of the time

Faster 8/10
This movie was simply awesome, to put it in a few words. The Rock has been in some pretty terrible Disney films in the past, everyone thought he had sold out.

Revenge of the Nerds 9/10
Was flipping through and this was on. It had been years since I had seen this and let me tell you I forgot how bad ass this is. The music competition is epic.
Lamda Lamda Lamda FTW

Green Hornet
7/10
Expected more humor, or maybe it was there, and I didn't catch all of it, idk. Seth Rogan is still the shit though.

Switching over from a 10 (40) point scale to a 5 (10) point scale, because it's just too hard to get into specifics about what exactly a movie should get.
The Fighter - 4.5/5 (Full Price)
I'm trying to see all the Best Picture nominees that I missed, and there just happened to be a couple last showings of this in a theatre not too far away so I thought I'd catch it before it went out.
The main good component in this movie is the acting. Melissa Leo, Amy Adams, and Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale (two of my favorites) are all fantastic. Leo and Bale both deserve their Oscars. The story is pretty much a stereotypical boxing/sports theme, but it gets the job done, and is pulled together by great acting and interesting characters, as well as great music.

I hear ya there. I switched from the 10 pt scale to the Netflix 5 star rating system that Nick started using way back.
1 star - Hated it
2 stars - Didn't like it
3 stars - Liked it
4 stars - Really liked it
5 stars - Loved it

Yeah I got to the point where I was like is there even a difference between an 8.5 and an 8.75? Aw, who cares lol.
I base mine on Spill.com's rating system (they're a group of comic-critics), which pretty much describes how much you should pay for the movie to see it. The scale is pretty much:
0 - Fuck You (This movie makes you angry, don't see it at any cost)
1 - Some 'Ol Bullshit (Awful movie, don't see it unless you have nothing better to do)
2 - Rental (Bad-Decent movie, see it if you're able to rent it, but don't pay to see it)
3 - Matinee (Decent-Good movie, but pay Matinee price to see it in theaters)
4 - Full Price (Great movie, pay full price to see this in theaters)
5 - Better Than Sex (Fantastic movie, see it at any cost)

Pirate Radio - 5/5
Sex, drugs and rock and roll on the high seas. Can't go wrong. Killer soundtrack.
Just an all around enjoyable film.

Just watched Lost Boys: The Thirst, meh 6/10, nothing will ever surpass the original and it's amazing Corey Feldman can still get a job...only thing that saved it was the gore and hot chicks
