Wow Brie, I'm actually glad to hear that the bad thing you came away with from Blind Side was a lack of drama. I may have to watch that movie after all.
Alice in Wonderland - 4.5/5 Nick's Netflix Rating (would be 9 out of 10)
Tim Burton did a wonderful job creating Alice's adventures and Johnny Dep pretty much stole the show as the Hatter, overall I enjoyed it and found it thoroughly entertaining. I wish I had seen it in 3D when it was brand new

Just watched this independent movie called Cashback on Netflix, 8/10 was a pretty good flick and had some good humor mixed in with the serious/romantic parts, o yea lots of nudity too lol

This past week I saw Iron Man 2 which was pretty awesome, Shrek 4 in 3D (which the series now is just starting to become "meh" to me)
Last night started watching The Wolfman but had to cut it short cuz my wife needed to go to bed, so I watched Alice In Wonderland in blu-ray which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Tonight we are going to be finishing The Wolfman, and then watching Extraordinary Measures, The New Daughter, and The Spy Next Door

The Temptations. Watched it like 3 times this past week. I give it a 10/10. I almost cried when Blue died. The saddest part in that movie.
Oh, and I watched Juno again. 9/10. I like the dry humor type of movies.

Book of Eli - 4.75/5 NNR
This movie was fucking great. Everything about it--the way it was filmed, the angles, the quality, the colours, the actors, the dialog, the action--came together to make a thoroughly engrossing story. Denzel and Ms Kunis both did a fantastic job. If I had to complain about something, it would be the fact that they didn't stick vault boy in and slap the Fallout name on it. Highly recommended to everyone here!

Iron Man 2 - 4/5 NNR
Enjoyed it a lot, good action, fun story. War Machine is awesome. I wish they could have worked shit out and had Terrence Howard back as Rhodey but Don Cheadle did a good job. The thing at the very end after the credits made me mess my pants a little, even though I already knew about it.
Shutter Island - 3.5/5 NNR
Good adaptation from the book, overall was enjoyable but the pacing was a little weird. Some parts were less suspenseful/intriguing and more boring, but that's my fault for reading the book before seeing the movie. Recommended for fans of thriller/suspense movies and "head job" pictures.

Yes! Book of Eli was so freaking good. Everyone here should see it, it's the perfect kind of movie for people that like video games.
I can tell why, though--it was written by Gary Whitta who used to be the editor-in-chief at PC Gamer mag, among other game-related professions.
