Elite Mode:
You need a friend on Live to do this. Set up a game of attack and defend. Have the person who needs to get the Elite rank be the defender (since you will get the most points for defending successfully). Host a game the will auto start in 15 seconds, on 20 minute rounds. Get a rubber band and pull it from the "look" analog stick and over the controller, so you're guy is constantly spinning in a circle. Turn your TV off and go to bed. Every 20 minutes, your character will gain experience as if you're playing and successfully defending the base. You'll be there in no time! Also, to prevent locking up, don't do map rotation.


Look Sensitivity
Try changing your sensitivity a little higher. If someone shows up right behind you, you can turn around faster and its not very hard to control.

Relatively easy xp points
Change the gametype to Terrorist Hunt. Make sure that the difficulty is set on "Realistic" with the enemy density set on "High". Change the map to LVU Campus. You can also use Dantes but I personally prefer the Campus. This will still be potentially difficult to beat the level but you only have to kill 25 terrorists when you would have to kill more on other levels. You gain 600 xp points every time you beat the level, and it usually only takes about 3 minutes on average to beat the level (LVU Campus).

You cant anymore, they patched it a while back. There is another way to get elite, but it requires that you have an account with elite on it already. And can get you potentially banned on xbox live. If you want info on how to do it and your willing to take that risk, add me on xbox live.
