Looks like we won't be getting any surprise XBLA announcements at E3 for next Wednesday, as the cat is out of the bag. Coffeetime Crosswords and Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords will be the Xbox Live Arcade titles for the week of E3. Coffeetime Crosswords features over 150 puzzles and will support single player or two-player co-op on Live. Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords has both single and multi-p-layer modes. Both titles will cost 800 Microsoft points and be available on Wednesday, July 16th at 5:00 a.m. EST.

In addition, Buku Sudoku will have a free download consisting of 1,2000 puzzles, also available on Wednesday, July 16th.

Anyone who hasn't already tried Puzzle Quest, now is the time to grab the trial version, because I bet you will enjoy it.

Imagine a combination of turn-based combat, swapping jewels/gems a la Bejewelled, RPG elements like an inventory, armor, weapons and character stats, wrapped together with a story, other characters in your party, and a killer instrumental soundtrack.

The deal is completed with good Achievements and multiplayer support!

I agree fully with the Reverend about Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords! It's a great game and if you passed it by due to the original price, you should revisit this title come Wednesday!
