I read the script, and it's not that good. I mean, Robert Englund isn't in it. I also read The Strangers 2 script and didn't like the whole trailer park setting.

Robert, being the wonderful guy he is, is fine with not being in it, he loves all his die-hard fans (like myself) but he wants us to move on and give someone else a shot at Freddy. As I've said before no one will ever do it better, but that doesn't mean this will be bad.
