New Community Calendar

One of the top requests on the ideas page was for a Community Calendar.

There is now a mini calendar on the homepage that links to the main Community Calendar. The darker days are days that have something going on that day.

Right now there are birthdays, game releases and XboxAmerica events on the calendar. More stuff can be added in the future. You can suggest new things on the ideas page.

Enabled javascript is required to view the calendar. By default javascript is enabled but if you can't get to the calendar or are having problems viewing it, that is most likely the problem.

Okay, I overlooked something. In Internet Explorer the mini calendar doesn't link to the main calendar. I'm working on a quick fix.

You gotta hate Internet Explorer...

There's a major error when flipping between months in IE. I'm working on a fix.

this is a awesome new feature and I was wondering if you can you make the calendar were if you put your mouse over a date it tells you about that day in a little pop-up window?

Nice Pasta, I second what zapa said. It'd be nice to have info about the day pop up in a little window just like the info for each thread on the homepage.

I updated the calendar on the homepage. It now shows some details about the current day's events. Instead of hover boxes, when you hover over a day the details on the right update to that day's details.
