NFS: Most Wanted help
11/30/08 9:06 pm | #1
I've been on a roll with this game ever since i've started playing it again, but now I'm stuck. I need one more measly milestone and i can't get it. I either have to cause $200,000 to state, or break through either 9 police spike strip road blocks, or 12 normal roadblocks. I find this impossible to do because i always run through the spike strips when i get to cocky, and then i get pissed and lose money... can anyone help??

200k to the city? easy
get some cops on you, and then just ram into the side of every car you pass, every cop who tries to hit you, and break every light pole/gate you can...and then you should get 200k after a lil bit

It also helps if you wreck a few Rhinos(Police SUVS),destroy a couple of Gas Stations, and wreck a couple of Fed cars.

yea those rack up big points. so do any of those triangle things (the smashable stuff, like the poles holding up the big tires/donuts, water towers, etc)

This was my first 360 game and oddly a full 1000g's. A year after that and I still only had 3500ish points thanks to lost planet. Another year and I'm at 41,300 pretty cool man.

Easiest way to see the where the spike strips are is pay attention to the police chatter when your in pursuit. You will hear them say where the strip is, so when its coming up go to the opposite way, even if you go far off road to bypass it you get credit for it. With the roadblocks itself, you need to hit the rear of the cop car, you should plow right through, if you hit the front, you will slow down and usually will be caught at higher levels. 200,000 to state might be the easiest thing to get. Stay in the city, use destructible items and be a Pied Piper leading cops to these items and trigger them. The Rhinos and higher ranking cars will get you money quickly.

yeah 200,000 is easy to get...but the bitch is outrunning all the cars you get chasing you, lol

I never, ever listened to the police chatter in that game, I always had my music too loud to hear them. lols
Just keep in mind, when your heat is that high there will never EVER be a gap between police cars unless there's a strip there. I think once or twice they got a bit tricky and put one in front of a car or something (i don't really remember been too long since I played that game). Just always keep your eyes open when you come across a blockade. and don't panic if they manage to pop a tire or two you can still avoid if your lucky. I've avoided a few with just my right tires. it's hard to do but manageable.
200k cost to state is the easiest. Just do what those guys up there pointed out and you'll be straight.
