NEW XBLA GAMES ANNOUNCED

Microsoft has lots of announcements coming out of this years Tokyo Game Show (TGS), including some really sweet news regarding some upcoming Xbox Live Arcade games! Here\'s a hint, most of them are retro remakes!

One of the new titles was just released this past Wednesday; Shadow Assault / Tenchu. Here is the full list of upcoming, newly announced Xbox Live Arcade games including:

Shadow Assault / Tenchu
Arkanoid Live
R-Type Dimensions
Space Invaders Extreme
Meteos
Metal Slug 7
The King of Fighters \'98 Ultimate Match

Microsoft\'s announced that Taito\'s Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid (with 120 stages and online play) will be releases to the XBLA sometime this Winter. They also announced that the old school arcade game R-Type 1 & 2 will be combined in R-Type Dimensions and SNK Playmore\'s The King of Fighters \'98 Ultimate Match will both release in the Spring of 2009, while Metal Slug 7 will be releasing to the Arcade at a time yet to be determined. No word on the other release dates or any prices at this time though.
