Movie Reveiw

So I know there was one of these a while back, I tried looking for it but I couldn't find it so please forgive me...I thought it was a cool idea when it was up....and if there hasn't been a thread like this........I must be losing my mind....or its the mad cow setting in ( boston legal joke

..*coughs* anyway )

List the last movie or movies you saw...and give us a "Rent or Buy" rating...kind of like the same thing thats on DVDuesday when I use to watch Attack of the Show.

Mirrors - Was a good movie to watch one time...but I wouldn't say it was a buy.....Rent

The Family The Preys - I'm a huge fan of Tyler Perry's movies, so I will have to say....Buy

Appaloosa - the movie kind of let me down, but was a very good movie, not as much action as I was lead to believe...Rent

Tomorrow I'm watching My Best Friends Girl...its got Dane Cook in it...so I think Im already leaning on the Rental side of the fence...lol

hmm, i hazen't seen a movie since a couple days after christmas. do porno's count? i saw the incredible hulk on blue-ray but i got it for christmas but it'd be a buy anyway cause action movies+surround sound+hd=a buy.

i still have but yet to watch iron man, the dark knight and some other one that's under neath the tree at the moment.

I saw Gran Turino last week. A definite buy if you're a fan of Clint Eastwood; you just can't go wrong with one of his movies.

We also watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - I would say save that for a rental. It seemed like it was okay, but it was just way too long to get into (almost 3 hours), and nothing happened for a good portion of the beginning. Its a nice one to save for a rainy Sunday afternoon, but I barely made it through once, nevermind repeat viewing.

I read this one wrong at first: I thought it said "Gran Turismo" and I thought to myself, Clint Eastwood was in a video game movie? Ugh I need coffee.

Some other good Eastwood movies are the "Man without a name" series - "A Fistful of Dollars" "For a Few Dollars More" & "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly"

Great movies, my wife and I watch them over again all the time.

Sweet; I'll have to add it to my Netflix. Speaking of Netflix, I also watched Event Horizon for the first time last night: Decent movie. I would say a rental, though. I didn't even bother "backing it up", as I couldn't see how many more times I would watch it. Good movie though, definitely have to see if you're a fan of Dead Space/Aliens type stuff.

Raine I saw Quantum of Solice when it came to theatres, I believe I was still in Florida at the time. That was a great movie, to be quite honest I liked it better than I did Casino Royale and I can watch that movie over and over again....The beginning sequence of the movie is a bad ass car chase down a rock quarry in his aston martin.....you just can't go wrong with that

I just got done seeing Madagascar 2...loved it, i loved the first one and I think this one is equally as good, if not better than the first one

Death Sentence, with Kevin Bacon...bad ass movie about some guy that loses his son to a gang initiation murder and goes ape shit and stars getting his own kind of revenge....a must see!

The Secret Life Of Bees...I didn't have a choice but to watch this, only one tv in the house and my wife wanted to see it, but to be honest....the movie was not bad, I actually enjoyed it

Haha me and Oneshot saw it too... Wasn't very funny. I really thought that the funniest part was the Nacho Eating Contest between him and that massive dude... And when the massive dude is trying to get (LOL SPOILER)

Some movies I have seen recently....

Dark Knight - sigh.... do I have to even say anything? = BUY NOW
Paul Blart (Mall Cop) - eh... OK. fun to see as a family movie or kids = rent
Benjamin Button - very good. a lot like Forrest Gump = see at movies/buy
Valkyrie - pretty good, but depressing = rent
