i've played and loved every cod game since 2.
is it because of the grenade showers? the multi?
i've never cared for the cod multi, but the campaigns were always very enjoyable for me. as long as they keep the achievements out of it. "HACKlikecod4HACK"

honestly, i blame treyarch. lets go down the list of why (imo) w@w sucks
-it was made by treyarch, a pretty lazy game developer company
-it's a ww2 game, the EASIEST game to make
-they used cod4's engine, too lazy to even make any changes to it so its basically stolen
-the veteran is just stupid. all they did was use cod4's veteran but made everyone throw 39401214 grenades.....not a whole lot of thought put into it
-the storyline is just lame. yes, it is a shooter, but it couldve atleast had a somewhat decent storyline
-the multiplayer now is SOOO boring. 3 matches and i can't stand to play any more afterwards...
this game's only saving grace was nazi zombies. but bleh does the game suck just so much...thats why i personally didn't like it

achievements in the campaign are a good thing. online ones can be a b!tch to get, and can take ages. campaign ones you will get with work.

okay, okay, at aaron. your biggest gripe is the MP apparently.
like i said, i've tried it once or twice. i've never been a fan.
at taco, your first 3 points don't really count, in my opinion.
veteran was garbage. like you said, WTF with all the grenades. i hated that part too.
the story.... uh.... cod levels are based off of real time war events. right?
and then, back to the multiplayer, which i agree on. it sucks.
like i said, i was just curious. not trying to flame anyone for disliking it.
i've always played cod games for the campaign, and i've enjoyed them all, even though a couple of them have had extremely frustrating levels on vet.
