Microsoft Zune vs Apple Ipod

I have a zune myself and I like it alot especially the unlimited music service but I wont lie to anyone and say its perfect because its not I have had to get all my zunes repaired at least once.

Ipod is a cool player in itself but I wish they would get a unlimited service and stop updateing it every year.

Does anyone else have a device they use that they feel is better then the current top selling mp3 players?

I had an iPod, it got stolen. If I decide to get another media player, I'll probably get a Zune. I didn't like that I couldn't add single files and shit to the iPod, since I was using it as a portable photography portfolio. Can you do that with a Zune?

Not sure what you mean by single files but im sure you can...Theres a way to make the zune be a external hd if you wanted to.

I currently have both. I like the Zune better for the price but I do have the brown 30gb Zune that I got on clearance for 90 bucks which was a steal for it being over a year ago. I also have a iPod nano but I'm not sure what generation--it's small, skinny, rectangle and flat. Plus, it's only a 2gb and back then it was 149.99 new which now is VERY OVERPRICED but it's only frozen on me once since early 2007. I don't use my Zune that much since it's much heavier and larger but I love how it has a radio, marketplace, games (verses my iPod) but basically everything the newer iPods have that now. I think they're both pretty equal but the iPod does update every 6 months to a year which isn't good if you like to keep up to date electronics laying around!

I prefer the Ipod just because thats what I have and I've never had any problems with it. Can't say anything about the Zune

eh... i have a 50$ samsung juke. holds about 350-400 songs... and it's a phone.

i hate my bros ipod and i have two zunes with no problems. plus u get ACHIEVEMENTS(well badges) for listening to music

I've never used a Zune, but I have an iPod. I just put music on my iPod, i dont use any of the other stuff on it. It stopped working a couple months ago for like a week or so, then i just took it to the apple store and they fixed it for free :o

iPods hands down. im lovin my 8gb touch.

ive used a zune a few times before, it was my friends. didnt like it. not sure what it was about it, i just didnt like it...i used to have a 30gb ipod classic, and it was awesome. i had this really thick case for it too, so i could drop it alot and itd never scratch/break. which i did. but not from like, super big heights. just like, out of my pocket, car door, etc. and im loving my itouch. apps are fun, i love the touch screen...its just overall amazing lol
