It's definately worth renting if you are unsure of what the game is. Personally I love blowing shit up, but sometimes I find the turn speed either too fast or too slow. Maybe I am just used to playing Call of Duty 4. Also, if anyone wants to play some co-op with me, I am usually online around 4 pm E.S.T.! The co-op in Mercs 2 has been such a great, great time for me. I've never spent so much time in one sitting, blowing up buildings and "jungle hopping" with helicopters looking for HVTs. All minor glitches aside, this has to be a near 9 out of 10 game for me.
