I've yet to try co-op. My mic is broke and until I get a new one, I don't wanna do online. Just because there wouldn't be a point if I can't talk to whoever I play with.
Though I am still having a blast with this game. I love being able to call in air strikes on random buildings just because I can. I think I am at around 35% through the story.

Its definitely worth checking out. It would have been smart for them to release a demo. Not everyone has played the first Mercenaries.

It is pretty fun, and it seems like there is a lot to do in it. I rented it yesterday; would buy it if it wasn't for all the other games coming out relatively soon. There is only so much money to go around

I never played the first one. I wanted it but when it came I wasn't allowed to play it back then... Should you play the first one before the second or does it really matter?
