So let's say they fought on Earth. MC has his Assualt Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Pistol, Battle Rifle, and gernades.... Marcus has the Lancer, Shotgun, Hammer of Dawn, Torque Bow, Pistol, Hammerburst, Sniper Rifle, and Gernades. Not only does Marcus have more badass weapons then MC, but he can take cover, and MC little jumphing abilty doesnt mean shit on Earth.. It would be no contest MC would have no chance against a tactical fighter such as Marcus. sorry guys

mc's jumping power, strength, and EVERYTHING about him does mean stuff on earth. he was born on earth. therefore everything about him works on earth. same w/ the Covenant weapons. if you played the game, youd notice about 8/9 (i think theres 1 level NOT on earth, please correct me if im wrong i think its the Halo level?) of the levels were on earth, and EVERY weapon worked perfectly. therefore MC could run around and if he lucked up and found some Covenant weapons (lets say..Plasma Rifles/Pistols, a Beam Rifle, some few Elite comrades, Grav Hammer, Spiker, Energy Sword, Fuel Rod Gun, a Ghost, and..idk, maybe a Brute Chieftain (the red ones that usually have the grav hammer) that wanted to side with him?) and hed totally own fenix. even if he didnt have the elites/brute with him. besides, he still has the spartan laser which if he times it right blasts marcus down the drain...

I'm sorry I didn't realize we were gonna bust out life stories of Marcus and MC here, lol. Thank you guys for also pointing out a major flaw in Halo's campaign.. If a plasma gun was fired on Earth it would shoot out water, but I guess its why it is a game and not real, but at the end of the day all of MC's training, height, shields, and battle experience mean nothing if he takes a hammer of dawn to the face on a clear and sunny day! Or a chainsaw to the face on a rainy day. Fenix would murder MC in any weather, any day of the week.

hamma vs hamma and it isnt rainy, or sunny..its cloudty and hailing like a mofo! marcus weapons are screwed lol i just thought id do that since his weapons are weather-specific which is totally retarted...

Not neccesarily water, I was using an example, all plasma is liquid on Earth becuase of the oxygen in the air. And as far as your sheilds and armor argument. MC shield does not protect him against melee combat therefore it wouldn't stop a chainsaw, and armor won't stop the chainsaw becuase everyone in Gears wears armor and it obviously goes right through that.

)You've never played GoW????? Get with the times man. lol, anyway Marcus has killed his share of tough enemies that tower over him and jump and fly around. I'm sure MC is not as strong as a Brumak or the Corpser or even the Beserker, and im sure he can't fly around like a Reaper. So Marcus has fought enemies the calibur of MC and beat them. and honestly IMO it looks like Marcus' armor is a lot heavier then MCs, but thats just me. Marcus would win, end of story
