Some unlucky Madden NFL 08 players have been prey to just such a frustrating and embarrassing mishap in the first week since the game's release.
The "moonwalking glitch," as it's come to be known on forums, isn't extremely common, but it's also not the kind of thing gamers expect to slip by a massive publisher like Electronic Arts. To witness it, players must pick the Green Bay Packers Offensive Playbook, "GB - M. MCARTHY," and then choose the Shotgun - 2RB 3RW formation and "PA Smash Shake" for a play. The result: the quarterback being used will begin moonwalking and sometimes run right off the field while both the friendly and opposing computer-controlled players runs in circles.
