I end up muting every one I don't know in the game because they are all idiots who make racist remarks and say F this F that and F you because you killed me and I couldn't kill you back because somehow I have magical bullets that can track anyone from a mile away and yadda yadda yadda and you have a magical force field that I poured 1million bullets into and you still didn't die. I have yet to get a person on my team that doesn't talk smack towards their own team mates and its pathetic.

I can see the positive side of this as being that now with party chat you almost never meet anyone new on live besides through your friends. Kinda killed the community aspect

this is pretty stupid, for example i was up at like 5 this morning playing and a good friend of mine got on before school and invited me to a party and i couldnt join it to talk to him, because i was in the middle of the game. i agree that its a good idea for search and destroy but other than that it becomes a pain. id rather be in a party with my friends then listen to all the people yelling, singing, and acting stupid in general. you have to admit it becomes a major pain to keep bringing up the scoreboard just to mute someone. its just distracting and can get you killed really fast.

This is ridiculous, atleast let us talk to other gamers not in your game. Countless people joined my party today (which I had to be in game chat for) and I couldnt even switch back to the party without being booted to tell them we would party up after my game ended.

If everyone can do it then its a fair playing field in my mind but I also talk to one person at a time so private chat will work for me.
