MW 2 Javilin Cheat

First of all this is not a thread on how to do it. This is a warning on NOT to do it.

I Follow both Stepto (MS Ban Hammer guy) & FourTwoZero as well as IW on my Twitter. The talk was anyone found to be using this cheat will get a Console Ban. IW Has a title update coming out soon to fix this as well as many other things.

I had this cheat used against me last night for the first time. I still went 21-9 but six of my deaths were from that prick and several of those ended streaks. He was only 25-19 and was a terrible player. He even had a buddy on our team that was 0 kills and my team still won.

Just wanted to get the word out to all my XbA Bro's & Ho's!!!

Thank for let me know about it. I see too many ppl use the Javilin. Hate it bc it ruin the game.

It happen in XBA Monday night event last week. It was kill us all in match.

Yeah, the Javeglitch is annoying... I follow Stepto and Robert Bowling also and I was happy to read their tweet about it the other day.

Ya, im glad there banning people. At first i thought they were just shooting right before they died. But soon found out they were cheating.

The first rule about the javelin glitch, is don't fucking talk about it!!!!!! I can just imagine all of the carebears from xba that are you-tubing that shit now. It's bad enough that the glitch has spread like wildfire this week, but drawing attention to it isn't the way to go. IW is being really slow about the patch, I couldn't fucking believe it when KOTAKU had a news story on this the other day which contained a link on how to do the damned glitch.

This is bullshit! I was playing a game of demolition the other night and 2 or 3 jagoffs on the other team were using this glitch. :growl:

I kind of agree with Durtie on this one.

Gamers will always find glitches in games. It is not up to gamers to not find glitches, it's up to developers to make games so there are no glitches. If there are, it's up to them to fix them as soon as possible to make it fair until the next glitch surfaces.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying to go ahead and cheat, and I filed a complaint against anyone who as ever "crabwalked" in a Gears match whether they were on my team or not. I'm just saying that banning someone for exploiting a flaw in the code is harsh and unfair.

Like TK said, he still owned the cheater, and it is unlikely that these are skilled players that are cheating. When someone glitched against me on Gears, they became everyone's target and were killed first every round. It is our job as fair players and honest gamers to find a weakness in a glitching player and exploit that the way they have exploited the game.

My two cents.

I havent had to deal with people useing this in the game but i have not played in 3 days. I think they should give console bans for excesive use of it though
