No comics is better in my opinion! I love my (regular) books.

if you count Vertigo as begin a part of DC it would be much closer. there are some awesome one shots and preacher is one of the best comic series/stories i've read.

I know this thread's kind of old.
For all the comparing panels - Superman in the 40's and 50's, etc. was the
epitome of good morale and positive influence, whereas the more modern
approach with Deadpool is so uber awesome!
there are only three good things about Marvel:
1. Marvel Noir
2. Loeb/Sale's "Color" series
3. They didn't have their name attached to another horrible Mortal Kombat game
DC is better.

Marvel is better because you get to know the character much better. And you don't have the problem of clones that say they are someone and then getting all confused.

Marvel actually gives the characters realistic lifestyles, allowing for readers to connect emotionally to each character. DC is too fake, IMO.
