Okay a lot of you may hate me for the suggestions, but I feel these suggestions will make the site more Family and Work friendly.

1.) Signatures, should not have any scantily clad females, or other material that is of the like (ie, some of these wrestler girl sigs in bikinis). A lot of kids do browse this site, and a lot of us browse from work, and can get all of us in trouble. I suggest a rule be implemented and tone down some of the sigs. (sorry guys)

2.) I suggest a curse word filter. A lot of us have potty mouths (mine included) and can upset some parents whom let their children browse the forum. A filter could be set up to block out the curse word with Characters that make no sense. In example, If I used the F Word, it would come out like this " F$@% "

3.) A section for Call-Outs. In this section, you can call-out another member to a friendly game of your choice. Obviously the winner would only get bragging rights. It would be another way to get members Active and bring us closer together. In this section there would be no Obscene comments, lashing out at members, nothing like that. Just pure fun and amusement amongst each other.

Just some ideas I thought about and nothing to crazy. I do not know if anyone else has made any of the same suggestions, but I thought I would throw them out there.

if they are in bikinis then they are not nude. therefore they are wearing no less than legally allowed. if you go to a beach or pool then your more likely to see a bikini than on here in some random sig.
i think that this is the most ridiculous idea ever. this is directly infringing on free-speech. if there is no nudity there is no foul.

if you're worried about your child seeing someone in a bikini, throw them under a rock. if you're worried about getting in trouble at work, then dont browse the site at work.

Like I said, I am trying to help make the site more friendly for EVERYONE. Not just you, not just me, EVERYONE.

Some do not have the issue of looking at women all the time in bikinis. Some of us have respect for ourselves and dont care to stare at the stuff all day. Not to mention having respect for our girlfriends/wives, etc.

These are the small things to filter out to help make the forum that much better. Big huge forums, typically have a section for those types of things, that way they can have all their users browse when they want and how they want.

As far as the curse word filter, it could possibly be implemented, and then in your user settings be turned on and off and possibly be password protected for parents and all.

Freedom of speech or your rights or whatever are not being violated. There is a place and time to be involved in that stuff, and on a gaming website, it really shouldn't be.

Junior, i realize you are a senior member here. so i will choose my next words very carefully.

if you find this site inappropriate for your child, then i would suggest not allowing your child to view it. how is it fair to propose ideas that aid in CENSORING the site in order to make it suitable for your child? If you don't like it the way it is, then dont allow your kid to be a member. lol. (and that was completely hypothetical, i have no idea if it's your kid your trying to make the site "Friendlier" for)

I've been a member on A LOT of sites and Forums, and XBA is one of the cleaner, and friendlier communities i have had the pleasure of joining. thats why i am so adamantly against these "ideas". because i have seen site go down by the wayside because their, right to free speech is SEVERELY limited. not being able to post simple words such as stupid and gay because the censoring got so bad. and i know that you are in no way proposing that harsh of a censor, but sooner or later things get carried away.

i don't understand how your argument goes from a few sigs going around with bikinis in them to saying that the site is filled with them and that you are forced to stare at them all the time? i think you are being a little extreme. i agree that there needs to be a place and time for certain things, but i don't see the harm in someone in a bathing suit being made the equivalent as porn.

I can agree with #3 as that would be pretty cool. We can even add what a MMA site I go to uses, which is sig bets.

I can understand #2 but at the same time, that same MMA site uses a filter, and you can't even say title, as in the title holder, as it blocks out the tit in title.

But #1 isn't really an issue. They are wrestling chicks, most kids watch wrestling, so therefore it wouldn't be protecting them at all.

My main concern obviously is for the Children.

I have Netflix on my Girlfriends son's xbox, just for Childrens movies and his favorite TV shows (zack and cody, pokemon, etc) and the other day he was browsing the queue which he was not supposed to do on his own and he stopped on a cover with some "naughty" things on it and he asked me what it was. Needless to say, he got in trouble and can only watch Netflix if his Mother or I are in there with him to set it up, and once the movie begins we take the controller so he can't browse.

He is 7 going to be 8, so I am always concerned about him. Now a lot of you can say, well take away netflix from him, sure I could but I choose to let him watch his shows, and am obviously watching him like a hawk now. Call me strict or an idiot, I don't care lol.

So back to the main issue, I just don't someone elses child to be browsing, they search up just XBOX 360, and come across here, and the first thing they find is a sig with a chick in a bikini and their parents see it. Right there, that child could get in trouble and of course, that parent could give a bad name about XBA which could potentially hurt future members joining.

So some of you can say, "well parents should be with their children while browsing the web." I agree 100%, but some parents do not follow the rules, or children have a bad babysitter or whatever.

Like I said about the curse censor, if we had it to wear you can switch it on or off, then it shouldn't matter. As you could still browse in your style with it off, no feelings hurt.

Maybe I am just getting older and overprotective or what not, I just think we should just watch more over our younger youth more closely.

I know that they are wrestling chicks and what not. Why not make a sig with them in proper wrestling attire, instead of their bikini's and what not? That way you can still support your wrestler or whatever and not offend anyone else.

I mean my Fiance' watches me browse sometimes while we talk, and when a sig like that is shown, I get into trouble.

Again some of your significant others may not mind that stuff, but some do. And it is not because they are jealous or anything, maybe it has something to do with an incident in their past and do not appreciate that kind of stuff.

I don't mind a curse filter as long as it doesn't go overboard like the tit in title and so on. I curse alot, and may even when I type, never really paid attention to it. So I can see your point there.

I could see maybe a mode to turn off anything slightly NSFW and have things that are checked by that, and have members with "Inappropriate" Signatures just replaced with "NSFW" when that setting is enabled (Also This setting should probably be PC specific saved in the cash, not the users account)
As or word filter- as long as it is optional its fine. I mean If someone really wants to curse, theirs plenty of ways to avoid a filter. A mandatory filter would just encourage things like B0()BS (just an example)
