Those were my thoughts exactly. I am gonna get rid of one of my two systems. I also already have the Hardened edition of the game paid off. I'm just gonna switch the money from that to the bundle. I'd rather than the xbox and HD than the extras that come with the hardened version.

i would but i just bought my elite. it just dont seem practical. i would get 120 for my elite that i just spent 150 plus trades to get? nah ill pass

I have an arcade and an older pro. I am still debating on which I am going to get rid of. But whichever it is, its going on ebay. I am going to put it up with my 120gig HD after I get the new console and transfer my data from the 120 to the 250.

ahhh i see.
i won't be trading in my 360. it still works just fine and i'd like a backup. i don't even plan on opening the LE until i really have to, which means i'll still be playing gears on my current console. i want to start fresh with my 250 gigs, and that means draining the current HD of all it's life.

forget transferring. i'm on a need-to-transfer basis.

I know gamestop robs you of your trade ins...but just curious, how much do you get for your xbox 360 console if you take it to gamestop? I know it's $50 for the ps3 which I thought was total bs

ps3 gives u 130 not 50, but as for a 360 u get 80 for the console and 10 for a 20gig HDD.

The people at the Crystal River, FL gamestop told me $50.....Another reason why I never liked that store, lol

I got 100.00 for my Arcade unit at GS as it was like new and put it down on the MW2 system. I just hope my Elite dosen't crash before November 10th as I don't have a back up now.

ok, so yea...update

installed it to my hard drive last night

went to play it today...

it was going ok. went to fast travel to jefferson memorial, and for a few seconds IT ACTUALLY LOADED THE FAST TRAVEL SCREEN! so i was like "heck yes it loaded!' but as soon as i said that....it froze xD

ok, i felt i should revive this to give an update on the game status

ok, so let me tell you what ive done:
~downloaded it do my hard drive
~cleared my 360's cache so i have the latest update
~cleaned it NUMEROUS amounts of times w/ rubbing alcohol (which USUALLY does the trick)
~deleted Broken Steel and redownloaded it

and yet it still doesnt work. and i can only play for a few seconds before it messes up. if i walk around for a bit after a few mins it freezes. if i try and fast travel, it freezes.

HERES THE WIERD PART THO! my bro plays the game almost every day, AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY FOR HIM!!! he can fast travel, he can go around and even inside the jefferson memorial, and he doesn't have one problem! its only my game that is having the problems. and we're both using the same exact disc on the same exact console. but if i play on my account, it freezes when i try to do stuff. when he plays on his account, it works perfectly for him...

anybody got any thoughts on this???

try starting a new game. and then a soon as u can go to that section of the game and see what it does. if it works just start ur new game. at least its a fun game so u dont have to punish urself by starting over.
