I r bout to snap this game in half...

ok, yea. i need some help w/ a serious problem im havin w/ fallout 3

ok, so i have downloaded Operation Anchorage and Broken Steel. currently, my save is like in this area between Rivet City and the Jefferson Memorial. and its in this area that my game is f'n up. see where im at is where ive got to go to the Jefferson Memorial and talk to this dude about a reward (the guy who gives me the Aqua Cura quest and what not. i just finished the main/big quests in Broken Steel) but...my game keeps freezing. its like, it doesnt to load anything around the jefferson memorial...and its annoying me profusely. i cant fast travel, and cant hardly move before it freezes...

the disc does have a few scratches, but my bro so far has had 0 problems playing it. so i dont think its the scratches...and even then, theyre minor, nothing too big...and ive tried using rubbin alcohol to clean it, and still nothing...

ive checked the wikia and it doesnt seem anyones had this prob. i even cleared my cache and got the latest update, but still nothing...

so....idk what to do. anyone got any suggestions?

Frisbee? lol jk ummmm it might be that area (in game) that the data is at (where the scratch is) that causes it to freeze what you could do is either take it somewhere to get resurfaced (will charge a small fee depending on where you go) or go to gamestop and buy a used copy and test that one out and if it works replace your disc with their disc and take it back saying it didn't work then just ask for store credit instead of getting another fallout 3 and if it doesnt work just take it back and ask for store credit. Either way hope you get it fixed

idk any place to get it resurfaced...

and i would do the gamestop thing, but i have no money to buy it lol besides, i have like 324u8059820 other things i wanna buy lol so i gotta save up some money...

thanks for the advice tho. if i knew a resurfacin place id consider that, but i dont...

you could try googling CD Resurfacing near your area? If you have any stores near you that sell used CD's/Movies/Games they most likely have a resurfacing machine. The closest one near me is like 30 miles away

so it sucks when i need a game resurfaced.

i think i've actually heard of a similar glitch involving the aqua cure quest, taco.
it might have been on the xbox.com boards. i'll check it out and post if i find anything.

@lowlife - k, i just might do that....and yea, i have quite a few things...diff rave things (mainly pants and random light-up accessories) plus l4d2, a pac man jacket, and like...a lot more xD

this happened to me too same quest same place, over and over, install the game to your harddrive that should clear up the problem...

This, I use to have a lot of freezing issues and such as well. But after I installed it to the HD t was smooth sailing all the way.

Install to HDD? or Rent a good working disc and install that to your hard drive?
