I've been having problems with programs lately and most of the time its a sign of a possible virus. For example when I'm in itunes now and I copy a cd to my ipod and its done it says "Please don't disconnect the ipod is being updated" and then I get an error saying the program needs to close. Same thing when I go to burn this one dvd. I can burn all the others but this one on my computer, right when I select it the program gives me a close error:( This is why I think I need a good virus program on my computer and thought I would ask here to see if anyone knew one or even any suggestions to the problems. Thanks

Ditto. But if you can't cough up the money then I would suggest AVG or AVG Free Version.

Oops, sorry wrong MS system, LOL.

My all-time favorite AV program is Zone Alarm. I run it on all of my DJ notebooks and is very easy on your system resources.

One of the main things I like is you can easily and quickly right click - shutdown whenever you don't want it running. That alone sold me, as I hate that you can't easily shutdown all of Norton's processes and it really slows things down when you are running big programs.
