I Won the CoD2 Tourney!

For those who are hearing about this for the first time...for the past month I've been competing in Activision and IGN Gamespy Arena's Call of Duty 2 Tournament. This is a tourney being played over Xbox Live. The official website/portal for the tourney can be found here: http://arena.gamespy.com/events/cod2_xbox360/cod_landing.aspx

Last night was my third round (final) match, and I came in second place winning one of the 24 Grand Prize slots!

This is the legal-speak version of the prizes:

Grand Prize (24): Twenty-four Grand Prize winners will be selected to have the opportunity to preview the video game "Call of Duty 3" for Xbox 360 at Activision headquarters in Santa Monica, California before the game's official release date to retail stores. Each grand prize winner will receive a grand prize package consisting of the following: (1) Round-trip coach air transportation for one (1) person from the major airport nearest the winners residence to Santa Monica, CA; one (1) night hotel accommodation at Doubletree Hotel in Santa Monica or similar hotel (as selected by the Sponsor); Airport transfer to and from the hotel in Santa Monica; Breakfast, lunch, dinner while in Santa Monica; One (1) SWAG keepsake bag including: (one 1) iPod, one (1) iPod skin, one (1) hat, one (1) t-shirt, and other Call of Duty merchandise TBD by Sponsor.) The total approximate retail value of each grand prize package is $1,555. Total value of promotion is $37,320.00

Everyone needs to wish a1zapa luck, I believe he plays his final match tonight!!! Good luck buddy, hopefully we'll be meeting up in CA!

Awesome! It's going to be pretty neat meeting everyone there. :)

Also, it sounds like Ohio has some very nice representation in this tourney. Out of 24 people we already have 2 confirmed winners...the other 49 states can kiss my you know what. :p

Wait a second, I believe the rules state you have to be 18 to enter, how is Zapa in this?

Thats my dad in the tournament and he is 36 years old

his finnal match is tonight at 6PM.
