I'm not saying that he should be given a free leash to do whatever he wants but I mean ya gotta be real here, its impossible to hide all that from them. It'll happen in school, that's where I found out everything.
I fail to see how me saying that I dont want my son exposed to immature people who clutter their profiles with profanity and mindless garbage translates to me saying "I want my son to live in a bubble cut off from the world, keeping him away from everything" If I remember correctly It was Cpt 88 that was all "whats the point, its not like you can protect him from everything!!!" Its what I chose to do, and frankly I enjoy it almost as much as actually beating someone in a game. My parents were too busy working from 5am-7pm pretty much straight through my whole time while I was in school and even when I moved out at 16 they were still working the same hours. So supervision wasnt exactly their top priority from early one. I grew up spending alot of time on the internet alone and I speak from experience when I say that I dont want my son on there alone, and much less on Live alone. So I think reporting people for their offensive profiles is a way to make Live more family friendly.
Oh and I do get this sick pleasure from reporting people, I just cant stress that enough. I love it so much, I want to cheat on that feeling of "beating the crap out of people in a game" with the "reporting DBs obscene profiles", marry it, and have little smaller feelings with it. ~_^
