Id like to think that it got the message across rather well.

It's an addiction for him.....

Laguna, Tk has a good point IMO. Do you at least give people on your friends list a chance to ammend said offensive content before reporting?

I think it's only fair to at least give a "friend" a chance to do something to keep from getting banned. I have a friend that got banned for 2 days for inappropriate content and I, for the life of me, can't see what was offensive about his profile content.

Some folks don't realize what might be offensive to others, and Microsoft has set up a pretty thick gray line in their code of conduct as to what is offensive. The only thing that he had that may have been remotely offensive in his profile was the word "teabag" in his motto. Banned on first offense? I would have never thought it was THAT bad!

It doesn't mean much but here's my two cents. If people are swearing I don't really see a problem with that. But if it turns into personal attacks I could understand, but just random swearing? I get the thing about trying to protect your kid, but are you going to go out of your way to censor everything? Music, the kids at school, TV shows, movies... That'll be kinda tough. Can't you use your free time for stuff that's more worthwhile?

Hang on Dub, we are talking about a 5yr old. There's a lot of bad stuff out there that he's just to young to be exsposed to. So I def. agree on that. Do I think he should he be sheltered his whole life till he's out of school.... NO.

I'm not to worried about this kid, It seems like he has good parents. I'm sure when the times are right they will let him LEVEL UP!!! Hahaha

Either way, 5 or 10 or whatever, you can't protect them forever and you can't be sure they don't hear or see things they shouldn't. That's how my mom and grandparents tried to raise me. By not letting me know about anything. I could only watch movies if they watched them first, no music at all, and only could watch things like wrestling after I was told and lectured that it was fake and nothing that went on was real.

I'm not saying that he should be given a free leash to do whatever he wants but I mean ya gotta be real here, its impossible to hide all that from them. It'll happen in school, that's where I found out everything.

Yeah. Its up to the parents to do whatever they want, but its foolish to think you can do that forever. Mine did, and it failed miserably.
